Both Site Leaders and Supervisors can assign students to an event. See the Assigning Students to Event page for details on how to manage student event assignments.

However, only Supervisors can add and edit the events themselves. An Event must first be created and exist for your Client before students can be assigned to them.


Getting Started

An event is tied to an individual client. So first you need to navigate to the client for which you want to setup an event.

Click the Clients tab at the top, and then click the name of the client you want.

Then click the Events tab. That will take you to the list of events setup for this client.


Adding a New Event

Step 1: Click the +Add Event button in the top-right corner of the page.

Step 2: Type in the Name of the Event. For example, “Winter Phlight Club”, “Spring Phlight Club - [Site Name, Year]”.

Step 2: Select the Starts on and Ends on dates for the event. These dates drive the “survey window” - i.e., when the complete set of surveys are available to participating students. Outside of this window, students will not be able to edit their survey answers and will only be able to create a new ROY snapshot.

Step 3: Click the +Create Event button to save.

You will then see this Event listed on the Events page. It will also show up on the Dashboard for you and Site Leaders associated with this Client.


Editing an Existing Event

From either your Dashboard or the Event list page, click the Name of the Event you want to edit. This takes you to the Event information page (which also lists assigned students and is the same page where Monitoring Survey Progress happens)

Then, click the Edit buton in the top-right corner of the page.
